Accounts, and the research attestation

Products, prices and certificates of analysis are readable by anyone. Registration used to be required before the catalog would render; it is not any more. Nothing about who may buy has changed — only the point at which you are asked.

Every order is placed under an explicit acknowledgement that the material is for laboratory research use only. It is a tick on the checkout page, unchecked by default, and the order cannot be placed without it. That is the record: an acknowledgement made by the person buying, at the moment of buying, against a specific order.

• Material is acquired for legitimate in-vitro laboratory research.
• It will not be administered to any human or animal.
• The purchaser is responsible for handling, storage and disposal, and for complying with the law where they are.
• We may refuse, limit or cancel any order where we cannot reasonably satisfy ourselves that the purchaser is a qualified researcher.

An account is created at sign in with an email address and a password. It is where your order history lives, where a subscription is managed — paused, restarted, changed or cancelled — and where store credit is held. Order confirmation and tracking emails go to the address on it, and that address is what looks up an order on the track page. See tracking your order.

Checkout does not require one. An order placed without an account is a normal order and can still be tracked with the order number and the email address used.

If a password reset does not arrive, check the spam folder and confirm the address is the one registered. If an account cannot be found, it may have been registered under a different email. For anything else, contact support with the email address you registered with; we reply within one business day.
